The issue of dissolution of provincial assemblies was also discussed in the meeting. According to the sources, the party leaders assured Imran Khan that he would immediately be ready to sacrifice his seats whenever orders to dissolve the assemblies were received.

During the meeting, Imran Khan proposed to dissolve the Punjab Assembly in the first phase and the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly in the second phase.

According to the sources, the members of the assembly suggested in the meeting that PTI should not dissolve the provincial assemblies in a phased manner but this step should be taken simultaneously to create favorable conditions for early elections.

However, Imran Khan directed the MPs to continue the protest rallies and consider these rallies as part of the election campaign to attract voters.

During the meeting, Imran Khan also advised the members to appear before the Speaker National Assembly to confirm their resignations.

It should be noted that a day ago, Imran Khan while talking to media representatives supported the position of Muslim League (Q) that PTI should remain in power in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa until they hold early elections. Not to be assured.

FAWAD CHAUDHRY

PTI leader Fawad Chaudhry has also said in one of his tweets that PTI will dissolve the Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa assemblies if the PDM government does not present the final plan for the general elections by December 20.
